Balloch made 82 off 16 Overs

Corrie made 58 and some extras off 16 overs and we settled down for a quiet beer in lovely sunshine; K Cameron 13, R Cameron 17, K Thomson 12.

An excellent sporting day's Cricket with Corrie providing the drinks and Balloch the food so all we need is a decent Pavilion before next year..........so come on the Council !

The Council Response ?

Dear Mr Morrison,

Thank you for your letter and petition in which you ask that the Council consider refurbishing Fraser Park Pavilion. I can confirm that the Council’s Budget Working Group, today, agreed to recommend that the capital receipt from the sale of land at MacEwen Drive be ring-fenced for re-investment in the pavilion.

The recommendation is due to be considered at the meeting of the Highland Council to be held on 25th October and I will be in touch with the Cricket Club once I hear what the decision is. If this decision is to proceed with the project, the Council’s Housing and Property Service will be engaged to carry out the refurbishment and I will be in touch with the Cricket Club, as the main user, to ensure that it is involved.

Yours sincerely
