The Council Response ?
Dear Mr Morrison,
Thank you for your letter and petition in which you ask that the Council consider refurbishing Fraser Park Pavilion. I can confirm that the Councils Budget Working Group, today, agreed to recommend that the capital receipt from the sale of land at MacEwen Drive be ring-fenced for re-investment in the pavilion.
The recommendation is due to be considered at the meeting of the Highland Council to be held on 25th October and I will be in touch with the Cricket Club once I hear what the decision is. If this decision is to proceed with the project, the Councils Housing and Property Service will be engaged to carry out the refurbishment and I will be in touch with the Cricket Club, as the main user, to ensure that it is involved.
Yours sincerely
